Camille Calvin

Camille Calvin is an award-winning actress and director based in Los Angeles. Born in Forrest City, Arkansas, she was performing before she could name it — dancing, singing, cheerleading, and staging living-room monologues for her family from an early age. She trained at the Alliance Theater before attending Albany State University, a historic Georgia HBCU, on a cheerleading scholarship, where she earned a business degree.

After college, Camille moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting professionally. She is best known for playing Brianna in the Lifetime original film Deadly Cheers (2022), and for her portrayal of Honey Zeal in Desire Lines, a performance that earned her the Best Actress award at the Film Invasion LA Film Festival, presented by Discover Indie Films (2020). Her most recent release is The Love Script (2025, as Margo), streaming now on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV, and she leads the upcoming series Chops as Dannie (Danny Higgins). She recently completed lead roles in What Ever Happened to Dinner (as Wendy) — among her standout performances — and My African Wedding in America, co-starring alongside Quentin Aaron, both awaiting release. She has also appeared in television's Stumptown and All Rise.

Camille is also a recognized director: her work was honored at the Independent Talents International Film Festival (2018), her short film Lightning Strikes (as Irene) was recognized at the Film Invasion LA Film Festival (2019), and her short film In the Clouds screened in the LGBT category at the New Filmmakers LA Festival (2016).
